A.  No, I am sorry we are closed for drop off and pick up on Sundays.

Q.  When the dogs go to bed for the night, what happens when they cry or bark while there in there suite? Do you have someone check on them all the time? Kelli
A.  Usually the dogs are tired from playing or interacting with one another and sleep when they get to their suites. We do have a person on site at all times and if there is a lot of barking or crying they will check on them and maybe give them a little extra comfort.

Q.  My dog will be boarding next month with you guys, I wanted to bring her in for daycare to see how she adapts. Do I need to make an appointment or just come in?
A.  Yes,you will need to make an appointment, we call this a socialization appointment. During the socialization appointment you will have some paperwork to fill out and we make sure the vaccinations are all up to date. This is basically their first day of daycare where we socialize them into the pack. It is always best …if they have never been here before for boarding… to bring them to at least 1 day of daycare as so they become familiar with the facility, staff and the pack. This helps with any stress that they may have as well.

Q.  I need to board my Jack Russell April 13 - 16. She's 12, but still very excitable. Do you have availability and may I come visit the facility before I bring her?
A.  We have an open door policy and can show you around between the hours of 6:30am to 11:30am and 2:30pm to 6:00pm. We are closed from noon to 2:30pm for nap time. since our suites are usually reserved far in advanced we suggest that you make a reservation as soon as you know the dates that your pets will be staying with us.

Q.  I wanted to know if there were any dogs you dont take. I have a 4 month old G.Shepard/ Rotti female and go to school at SCC and was wondering if she would be able to go?

Q.  i am going to disneyland but...i need someone to take care of barky, otis, fritz (my dogs) for a cheep price do you hve something for three dogs?
A.  Awesome!! Disneyland is fun! This all depends on how long you are going = to be gone. If your dogs are going to be with us for one month or more = we will give you free daycare and all you will have to pay for is the = overnight boarding. Which is $45.00 per night for all 3 dogs. If you = were to board the dogs for 5 nights or less you would save a little by = renting the master suite which is larger has a larger T.V toy box and = child size beds. The master suite is $70.00 per night and this includes all day= daycare. Hope this helps! Have a great day and a wonderful trip!

Q.  do you have day tours? ? ?
A.  Yes, We love to show people around and would be happy to give you a tour. We give tours between the hours of 6:30 am to 11:00 am and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Although sometimes we are very busy and there may be a little waiting time.

Q.  I have used doggie day care on the north side before and it was great! However, my dog Genia is not really very good with other dogs so she was not able to be in the play area, but had to stay in the kennel area. Do you think you could help her so that she could play with the other dogs? I'd love to bring her to day care, but not just to stay in a kennel. Kate
A.  Sure we can help Genia become socialized so she can play with the other dogs in daycare. We socialize all the dogs that come to stay with us as so they do not have to stay in their suite all day and will be able play with all the other dogs during the day! The only exception is we will not socialize pit-bull dogs and some pit bull mixes.

Q.  How long have you been involved in the pet care industry?
A.  We opened our facility on September 1, 2003 and have grown steadily mostly from word of mouth from customer and veterinary referral. We moved into a much bigger facility where we are now on July 1, 2006.

Q.  So this is an animal hotel, how much does this cost and how long can you take care of them
A.  Yes, it is an pet hotel! The cost depends on what kind of animal you have (dog, cat, hamster, bird, etc........) can range from $10.00 per night to $20.00 per night per pet for suite stays and $5.00 to $10.00 per day per pet for daycare. You only pay for 5 days of daycare when boarding and then daycare is free for the rest of your pets stay! We can take care of your pet as long or as little as you need us to. We have a dog boarding now that will be here for the rest of his life.

Q.  how recent our your photos & how much does the bus for dog cost at your facility
A.  I keep a camera handy most of the time so I can take pictures of the dogs playing in daycare, sleeping in there suites, coming and going from the facility, before and after pictures for the groomed dogs, etc. then we update the web site every 3 months or so. The bus costs very. A one way trip is $20.00 a round trip is $40.00 you can also buy monthly transportation daycare packages, please call the facility for prices.

Q.  I will be bring my dog to your daycare on Aug 9th. Should I bring him in early to meet with you. When I called to make an appointment the person on the phone said to bring his vaccination papers, is there anything else. Janet Judd , Toby
A.  It is always best to bring your dog in as early as possible on their first day of daycare and or boarding. If fact, it is best if boarding for the first time to bring them to daycare at least one time before they board as so they can get acquainted with the daycare and the pack. This helps them to be more relaxed and understand that this is a fun place!

Q.  I am looking for somwhere to keep my dogs over labor day weekend and I would like to be able to pick them up on the 4th which is a holiday is that possible.
A.  I am sorry we are closed on all holidays and Sundays. Some parents have a friend or neighbor pick up their pet on the day before if they are unable to themselves.

Q.  what should you do if like one of your friends gets a puppy and your dog acts aggressive with it?
A.  We have a dog socializer. Lonny Kelp, they call him the dog whisper. He can help you with all your problems. Just call and set up an appointment or daycare has proven to help in this situation as well.

Q.  We have a reservation for our 2 dogs and 2 cats at your pet hotel in September. We were told that you are relocating your facility before that time. Are you and if so where is the new facility located?
A.  Yes, we are relocating to a lager facility. Our new address is 724 N. Madelia, Spokane WA 99207, just 3 blocks west of Napa and 2 blocks of Trent. Your dogs will enjoy much more space to play and the cat suites are larger and have a window to look outside.

A.  No there is no minimum or maximum time you can leave your pets except holidays. Holidays there is a 3 day minimum. We have had pets here for as long as months at a time and as little as just over night. We don't have cages or kennels we have suites for your dogs. Each suite has a tv playing Animal Planet, and full length glass doors. The cat suites are 3 levels high all glass walls, full length glass door and have a window to view outside.

A.  I started by doing a lot of research on the internet.

Q.  Do you offer secluded boarding for puppies who don't have all their vaccination shots yet?
A.  As long as your puppy has had their 2nd round of vaccinations they can come and play.

Q.  Is food included in the overnight stay for cats?
A.  No, you will want to bring your cats food it is an upset to their systen when you change their food and they get diaherra. Also many pets are on special diats and would prefer to keep them on their food.

Q.  Do you offer military discount?
A.  yes, we give free daycare when boarding.

Q.  If my dog is boarded but not put into the daycare program, will she be played with?
A.  Most parents that bring their dogs to Jeanne's have their dogs in daycare. But, if there is a medical problem or you have an older dog that is unable to participate in the daycare you can purchase a cuddle time for them. This is a one on one play time or cuddle time. We also have a special care unit where we watch over your dog 24 hours a day!

Q.  Due to family illness will be traveling and need to leave my dogs for a day or two. they are tiny dogs and im concerned if they will be boarded with other dogs. They are older and could not hold their own in a fight.
A.  We separate the large dogs from the small dogs and at no time are they ever together. Dogs are smart and they know when there is an older dog or a sick dog (cancer) in the pack. The pack will sniff the new dog the first time they come in and then leave them alone. The other younger more playful pets don't bother them.
